What makes it special: It's fancy enough to make you feel pleasantly pampered, but not so much that you can't relax and really enjoy yourself. Some guests wear a coat and tie; and others, slacks and t-shirts. (The crowd leans toward being dressier, though.)
Highlights include—
- The service. The Brown Palace always excels in this department. Each and every member of the staff is engaging and quick with a smile and a hello.
- A live jazz trio! ♫ ♫ ♫
- The atmosphere. The wallpaper, the potted bamboo trees, and the ice sculptures make for a very interesting brunch experience.
- A dessert bar to satisfy the most discerning choco-snob.
